About

Composer/Sound Designer

Based in Montréal, Québec

I am a classically trained guitarist from Montréal who has found his passion in composition and sound design. I specialize in video games and animation, which has allowed me to develop an efficient workflow and a strong attention to detail. I am a productive, reliable team member, and a quick learner who can drop seamlessly into any project. My goal is to help you breathe life into your project—I hope to discover what your team has been working on!

Compositions

I've been composing for 15 years, from heavy metal to pop music to solo pieces for classical guitar. Nowadays, I produce music for all media, but particularly focus on soundtracks for video games, which is my greatest passion. Check out some selected pieces on my SoundCloud below:

Sound Design

I've recently completed a sound design program at Trebas Institute here in Montréal, and I realized that I really love working in post-production, producing and incorporating sound effects and abstract/ambient audio accompaniment. To the right is one of my projects, produced in Cubase 13.

Editing

Apart from audio, I am also a freelance editor and proofreader, specializing in academic papers, journal articles, and textbooks. I've edited works for McGill University, Université de Montréal, Université de Québec à Montréal, Trent University, and Royal Roads University, focusing on specialized topics like climate resiliency, urban planning, and environmental policy. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Guitar and Composition from McGill, and my academic career has left me well-versed in academic literature and professional writing. If you need a fresh pair of eyes for your upcoming article or paper, I have substantial experience in academic writing and would be a very effective editor!
